Position Summary:
The Senior Application Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex software applications that support organizational goals. This role requires advanced technical expertise in C#, .NET Core, and ASP.NET MVC, along with strong proficiency in SQL and front-end web technologies. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, adaptable, and comfortable working independently or as part of a development team. They will contribute to the full software development lifecycle, from requirement gathering and architecture design to implementation, testing, deployment, and ongoing support.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain applications using C#, .NET Core, and ASP.NET MVC.
- Build and maintain complex web solutions following MVC design principles.
- Design, build, and implement APIs with a focus on scalability, security, and performance.
- Integrate internal and third‑party APIs to enable secure and reliable data exchange across systems.
- Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code for web, console, and service-layer applications.
- Develop and optimize SQL queries to support application functionality.
- Support UI implementation and ensure alignment with application architecture and user experience goals.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and technical teams to shape requirements and technical strategies.
- Contribute to architectural decisions and recommend modern development practices and patterns.
- Review code for quality, consistency, and adherence to standards.
- Troubleshoot and improve application performance, reliability, and maintainability.
- Participate in deployment planning and support CI/CD processes where applicable.
- Advanced proficiency in C# and .NET Core, including MVC development.
- Strong experience with ASP.NET MVC and related patterns.
- Ability to evaluate, install, update, and troubleshoot NuGet packages to support application development within Visual Studio.
- Proficiency in SQL development, optimization, and relational database design.
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience using Visual Studio for development and debugging.
- Ability to design modular, scalable, and maintainable application architectures.
- Working knowledge of Git or comparable version control platforms.
- Experience creating and consuming APIs.
- Understanding of API security standards.
- Experience with Azure cloud services and cloud-based architecture.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Effective communication and ability to work with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Ability to lead technical discussions and provide guidance.
- High attention to detail with a focus on quality and maintainability.
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities and adapting to evolving requirements.
