Job Duties: This is responsible work assisting with the distribution of mail in the Kansas Judicial Center. Sort CPC return mail and organize/scan by payment type for CPC. Comply with any USPS forwarding orders for returned mail and readdress/mail traffic 30-day letters and collection delinquent notices to updated addresses. Print and mail receipt requests in self-addressed, stamped envelopes as directed by CPC.
Assists in picking up, x-raying, sorting, and distributing incoming and outgoing mail. Incumbent may assist in maintaining and delivering copy paper and office supplies to all floors in the building. Checks dock for UPS next day air mail and ensures all time frames are met for pickup and delivery. Runs tracking on packages sent by UPS and Fed Ex to ensure delivery. Records incoming and outgoing UPS mail in log and sorts for distribution. Stamps outgoing mail and ensures mail is ready for pickup.
Supports the building manager in coordinating the setup and breakdown of building-wide events.
And other duties as assigned.
Required Education and Experience: Graduation from high school, or equivalent, supplemented by general office experience.
