Job Duties:
This is a technical position involving the development, maintenance, and support of data reporting solutions and database systems. Responsibilities include producing statistical and operational reports, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of data, and assisting with database administration, performance, access, and system support functions.

Data Reporting & Development
  • Gathers and translates reporting requirements from stakeholders into technical specifications and reporting solutions
  • Writes SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data
  • Develops and maintains statistical and operational reports for case management systems
  • Develops and implements data visualizations to effectively communicate trends, patterns, and insights
  • Performs data validation across source systems, reporting databases, and report outputs
  • Documents report logic, data definitions, and development procedures
  • Communicates findings and technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Database & Data Platform Support
  • Supports database performance monitoring and optimization through query tuning, indexing, and other performance improvement techniques
  • Assists with troubleshooting database issues
  • Assists with database upgrade and database migration projects
  • Assists in daily database maintenance and monitoring activities
Required Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, data analytics, or related field required. Experience with relational databases and SQL required. Experience with database performance concepts and data reporting development preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Required:
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, transformation, and analysis
  • Knowledge of relational databases and basic database performance concepts
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, particularly in data validation and reporting accuracy
  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends or discrepancies, and support problem resolution
Preferred:
  • Experience with data visualization and reporting tools (e.g. Power BI, SSRS, or similar)
  • Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Microsoft Azure or similar)
