Job Duties: The Communication and Outreach Coordinator (Supervisory Court Program Analyst) is responsible for overseeing, formulating, and supervising strategic communications and programs to increase internal and external awareness and involvement. The role will be crucial in raising awareness about the courts and their services, building valuable ties with members of the community, and educating and engaging internal and external audiences.

  • Collaborates with department leaders and the public information director to develop and implement strategic communication and outreach initiatives for the Office of Judicial Administration.
  • Works with the public information director to develop content through social media platforms, email campaigns, newsletters, and websites to ensure positive user experience and performance. This includes collaborating with department leaders on content development.
  • Reviews, edits, and gives feedback on written content developed by team members or other departments to ensure clarity, consistency, and alignment with brand voice and messaging.
  • Promotes using and educates staff on plain language principles to ensure communications are clear, accessible, and audience friendly.
  • Coordinates, develops, and designs high-quality podcasts, videos, or written communications that inform and engage internal and external audiences.
  • Help departments and teams with outreach events and programs that require coordination and communication.
  • Oversee project timelines and team workflows, ensuring all communications and outreach deliverables are completed on schedule and meet quality expectations.
  • Assigns duties and responsibilities to staff; establishes expectations and provides employee performance feedback on an ongoing and annual basis.
  • Identifies and pursues opportunities for public engagement.
  • Identifies and develops analytics or metrics to measure engagement and outreach effectiveness.
  • Fosters relationships with community partners and leaders, civic groups, and other external groups.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Education and Experience: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree, preferably in communications, marketing, public relations, or a related field. Prefer 3–5 years’ professional experience in public or private sector communications.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Outstanding interpersonal relationship building and employee coaching and development skills.
  • Exceptional communication skills, including writing, speaking, editing, proofreading, and presentation.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to develop methods, tools, systems, and capability to elevate judicial branch communications.
  • Ability to effectively manage projects, meet deadlines, and work under pressure.
  • Proficient using MS Office Suite, Adobe Creative Cloud, and website content management systems.
  • Experience with media relations and digital marketing tools (e.g., content management systems, email marketing platforms, social media management tools) and audio and video editing and production tools.
  • Strong project management and team leadership abilities.
