Job Duties: This is paraprofessional work providing technical assistance in the Office of Judicial Administration. Work includes processing daily mail and recording all checks received, processing accounts payable vouchers, processing travel vouchers, processing purchase orders, processing receipts, document scanning, submitting building maintenance work orders, assists with vehicle rentals and organize conference calls. This position includes a combination of telework and in-person work in the Kansas Judicial Center in Topeka KS.
Education and experience:Graduation from high school, or equivalency; supplemented by coursework or training in bookkeeping, accounting, or data processing. Three years of general clerical work experience are required with considerable experience in bookkeeping, statistics, or court clerical experience; or any combination of education or experience which meets the preferred.
Preferred qualifications: Knowledge of the principles, procedures, and practices of accounting and statistical analysis. Considerable knowledge of modern office practices, procedures, and equipment. Ability to collect and analyze data, prepare reports, and express ideas and present facts in writing or verbally.
