Kansas Judicial Branch Benefits State Employment Center – Benefits (ks.gov) Job Duties: Supervise a caseload of offenders and who are placed under court supervision. Interview clients and compile information for reports and testimony for the court regarding disposition/sentencing. Maintain timely and accurate chronological records on each client. Identify client needs and make appropriate community referrals when warranted.
Required Education and Experience: Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major course work in psychology, sociology, social work, criminal justice, or other human services related field.
Preferred qualifications: Proven verbal and written communication skills. A minimum of one year experience in one or more of the following within the past five years:
Conducting interviews
Writing formal reports
Working with juveniles and/or families
Working with clients with substance abuse and/or mental health issues
