                                                           $28.08 hourly / $2,246.32 bi-weekly
                                                           (Salary increases after probationary year)

JOB DUTIES: Investigation and preparation of detailed juvenile and adult Pre-Sentence Investigation reports and administering LSIR/LSCMI/WRNA risk assessments. Probation supervision of juvenile and adult offenders, assisting clients in understanding and meeting requirements placed on them, and referring clients to appropriate community resources as deemed necessary. Position requires high level of professional work collaborating with community resources, law enforcement, attorneys, and judges.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND ABILITIES: Position requires a bachelor’s degree with majority of coursework in criminology, sociology, corrections, counseling, psychology, social work or a closely related field.  Position requires attention to detail, strong organizational and time management skills, and computer skills.  Candidates must be able to pass a criminal history background check and possess strong verbal and written communication skills.  Candidates must possess a valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
