$28.78/hour; $29.52 after 6 months; $31.77 after 1 year

Job duties: Facilitate the Douglas County District Court Eviction Diversion Initiative (EDI) to ensure smooth and efficient functioning of the program. Conduct research and outreach to understand the needs of the community regarding legal issues surrounding housing. Develop educational material for use by landlords and tenants. Attend all eviction answer dockets and work with judges and court staff. Other responsibilities include assisting pro se litigants in the Self-Help Center.
Required Education and Experience: Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university and two to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Applicants must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications and have a valid driver’s license. Five years of work experience within a court system are preferred. Additionally, applicants who can read, write, and speak fluently in both English and Spanish are preferred for this position.
Special Additional Requirements: An offer of employment is conditioned upon passing a criminal background check.
